These are your legal rights:
Not to make any statement if you dont want.
Not to make any statement against yourself.
Not to plead guilty.
Not to answer to any questions.
To declare that you will only testify before the judge.
To nominate a lawyer and to request his attendance during your statement and identity check. Otherwise a duty lawyer will be nominated to assist your person.
To provide the name of the person you wish to inform about your arrest and the place where you are under custody.
As a foreigner you have the right to have your Embassy or Consulate informed about your and to be assisted by an interpreter without charge.
To be examined by a doctor.

ARTICLE 520 OF THE SPANISH CODE OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE
-According to article 520 of the Spanish Criminal Procedure Law I proceeded to notify you that you are under arrest for ROBBERY.
-De acuerdo con el art. 520 de la ley de enjuiciamiento criminal española procedo a notificarle que está arrestado por el presunto delito de (robo).
-I proceed to notify you of your statutory rights which are the following:
-Procedo a notificarle de sus derechos legales que son los siguientes:
1) Not to make any statement if you don´t want.
1) No hacer ninguna declaración si no quiere.
2) Not to make any statement against yourself.
2) No hacer ninguna declaración en contra de sí mismo.
3) Not to plead guilty.
3) No confesarse culpable.
4) Not to answer to any questions asked.
4) No responder a las preguntas que se le formulen.
5) To declare that you will only testify before the judge.
5) A declarar solo ante el juez.
6) To nominate a lawyer and to request his attendance during your statement and
identify check. Otherwise, a duty lawyer, will be nominated to assist your

6)A nombrar a un abogado y pedir su servicio durante su declaración y comprobar su identidad.
